Ellen Moss Williams, Executive Director

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Ellen Moss Williams has served on Godman Guild’s management team for 14 years; seven as Director of Youth & Family Services since 2004 and seven collectively as Associate Director and Director of Workforce Development from 1994 to 2001.

Ms. Moss Williams received her BS in Business Administration from Strayer University and her MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in 2010.

Ellen Moss Williams has over thirty years of volunteer and employment experience working with programs focused on youth development and workforce development for adults as well as youth.

Ms. Moss Williams is a member of the National Black MBA Association and the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; a founding board member of the Ohio Animal Companion and is a past member of the board of trustees for the Interprofessional Commission of Ohio, a cooperative program of human service professionals whose goal is to improve services through collaboration for the children, adults and families of Ohio.

Anjanette Robertson, Director of Youth and Family Services

Anjanette Robertson has been with Godman Guild Association since 2001, beginning as a TEEN advocate. She is currently serving as Director of Youth & Family Services. Over the past ten years Anjanette has successfully supervised five programs in Youth & Family Education.

Anjanette holds a B.S. in Art Therapy from Bowling Green State University and remains a lifelong learner through The Ohio State University’s Continuing Education Program.

She has been empowering youth through non-profit organizations for over fifteen years. She first worked with runaway youth, incorporating her artistic talents to facilitate expressive art groups and grief therapy to teens and children. Anjanette continues to use her creative talent by developing programs, curricula and staff. Her most well-known program, A.C.E.S. (After School Program through Community Leaders, Educators and Students), has been so successful that Columbus City Schools has adopted an expanded version. She is a member of the Ohio Afterschool Network and the National AfterSchool Association.

Ms. Robertson’s passion is to advocate and help provide unique experiences for all students in the Godman Guild community. Her ability to develop strong partnerships and execute family events is helping the Godman Guild offer more STEM-related family learning opportunities and stabilize funding to expand programs.

Wendy Hansen-Smith, Director of Workforce Development

Wendy Hansen-Smith has worked for Godman Guild for over ten years and has been in her current position as the Workforce Development Director for over nine years. She currently manages the Guild’s Employment, Adult Education & GED, College Preparation, Family Advocacy, VITA and Wee Play programs.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Ms. Hansen-Smith holds a BA in Psychology from North Central College and an MA in Education from The Ohio State University.

Wendy Hansen-Smith has 17-years experience developing and managing programs and providing services designed to assist low-income adults in gaining education and employment skills and credentials that reduce poverty and lead to economic self-sufficiency.

Ms. Hansen-Smith is also Director of the Columbus ABLE Consortium which provides adult basic literacy, GED preparation and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) services to all of Franklin County

Marci Ryan, Director of Camp Mary Orton

A native of Columbus, Ohio, Marci Ryan has been with Godman Guild since 1999 as Director of Camp Mary Orton. She facilitates team building events at the Leadership and Challenge Center at Camp Mary Orton as well as oversees all aspects of the camp and it’s facilities.

Her 25 Years of knowledge in outdoor experiential education began at Camp mary Orton, training with the Wilderness Bond program. She received her Associate Degree in Mental Health from Columbus State Community College.

Ms. Ryan has 35 years of experience in business, specializing in management, supervision and customer service. She has served as the Human Resources Director for Godman Guild since 2002. Ms. Ryan was a Godman Guild Board Member and was President of the Board of Trustees from 1994-1995. These previous positions provide her with a unique perspective of Godman Guild and Camp Mary Orton.

Ms. Ryan has devoted her time and talent to serving the community as evidenced by the receipt of a Community Service Award from House of Hope Board of Trustees in 2005. She works effectively in the community, gaining needed resources and services for Camp Mary Orton so that it can continue to provide valuable programming for children and adults in Central Ohio.

Linda Silva, Director of Development and Operations

Linda Silva has worked with the Godman Guild Association since 2007, serving as Director of Operations & Development. Ms. Silva facilitates the development efforts as well as directing marketing and communication initiatives for Godman Guild. Additionally in this capacity, she oversees all aspects of the Sixth Avenue facilities and operations.

She holds a BS in Family Resource Management with an emphasis in Communications and Marketing from The Ohio State University.

Linda Silva entered the non-profit sector by serving with the American Red Cross Central Ohio Region. During her 10-year tenure, Ms. Silva helped build the successful Apheresis Donor Program, led event planning and volunteer program initiatives. Ms. Silva has owned and operated three business ventures. Her ability to combine sales and marketing skills with her talent management knowledge propelled all three businesses to notable success.

Ms. silva’s multi-faceted background and entreprenurial experience give her a unique skill set of operational, project and resource management, relationship building, along with sales and marketing expertise; all attributes that she brings to Godman Guild.
