Development/Volunteer Coordinator
Qualified applicants will have bachelor’s degree, one to two years fundraising experience and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a wide variety of constituencies. Applications will be accepted through the closing date of Friday, February 3, 2012
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Provide support as member of the Fund Raising Team with the goal to advance Godman Guild’s profile, increase donor awareness of Guild mission to maximize fundraising efforts.
- Tracking of all gifts incoming to agency, managing the donor base to ensure proper donor recognition and retention activities
- Recruiting, engaging, supporting and recognizing volunteers to ensure deep satisfaction with Godman Guild’s mission.
- Provide event planning coordination and expertise.
- Provide coordination and publishing support for internal and external newsletters and communication.
- Provide donor/donation statistical analysis and reporting for Executive Director, Director of Development and Board of Trustees.
Candidate must be reliable, detail oriented, and comfortable greeting and talking to donors and Board Members on the phone and in person. Candidate must also be able to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast paced, team driven, office environment. Professional verbal and written communication skills are necessary for this position. 2 years experience with donor management software such as GiftWorks or E-Tapestry and/or Graphic design and desk top publishing experience is highly desirable. LCC Contract Facilitator will provide support for Camp activities and facilitate adventure experiences to incoming clients; will facilitate adventure experiences that serves the needs of clients in the community. Facilitator will facilitate custom-designed group team-building adventure experiences, including group initiatives, high ropes courses, climbing walls, ziplines and other adventure elements; maintain physical and emotional safety of all participants and facilitate valuable discussions, as appropriate, with each group; complete required paperwork for each group; and attend required trainings annually.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience facilitating adventure programs is helpful and current CPR/first aid certification. College degree is preferred. Must be able to become certified in initiatives, ropes course and adventure elements at Camp within 6 months.
