Godman Guild’s Health and Wellness Programs and Services
This is a new area of focus for Godman Guild Association. Although we have had elements of health and wellness built organically into programming, there had not been any intentional focus on Health & Wellness as a whole. Surveys conducted within the Weinland Park neighborhood and among adult education participants determined that one of the number one barriers to employment is health-related problems.
Camp Mary Orton
Currently Wilderness Bond programming, Adventure Academy, and Leadership & Challenge Center programming are providing Health & Wellness services. Each of these programs is facilitated at Camp Mary Orton and provides opportunities for clients to experience wellness activities that lead to stress, life and workplace pressure management.
Tai Chi and Zumba
Godman Guild offers weekly Tai Chi and Zumba classes to community participants for a minimal fee. Tai Chi begins January 7th, 6:30pm – 7:30pm. The participation fee for the 12-week session is $15. To register call 614-294-5476 Ext. 106.
