KD Fuller

Director SYEP and ACES Supervisor Weinland Park Elementary School

KD has been with the Godman Guild Association since 1990.

During her time at Godman Guild, KD has supervised Out-of-School time programs for children from pre-k through High School.

Currently KD is the Supervisor for the ACES after school program at Weinland Park Elementary School and is Director of our Summer Youth Empowerment Program (SYEP) at Camp Mary Orton.  KD has a BA in English Literature and a BS in English Education from the Ohio State University.

David Smith

Director of Business Development and Operations

David connected with Godman Guild in 2010, shortly after moving from east Texas to Columbus. A licensed teacher in both Texas and Ohio, David began tutoring students in Godman Guild Adult Education programs, and soon was teaching class as a full-time instructor. From 2012 through 2015, David served as the Supervisor of Adult Education, and at the beginning of 2016 David became the Director of Business Development and Operations, moving his office to Camp Mary Orton.

David brings a breadth of knowledge to Godman Guild’s business development enterprises, with experience in law, business development, camp operations, and education. After a year as a corporate lawyer with a large Dallas law firm, David became the director of franchise development for a startup retail franchiser. With responsibility for all aspects of sales and development, he helped the business venture grow to an international operation that was then sold to investors and taken public
. David also worked as a counselor and supervisor for 5 years at a therapeutic wilderness youth camp in east Texas before becoming a middle school teacher. He enjoyed teaching math to a diverse population of students from low-income families, with needs ranging from students with disabilities learning basic skills to gifted students learning algebra.

David attended Cornell Law School, Ithaca, New York, earning his J.D. with a concentration in Business Law and Regulation, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1993. David received a B.A. from Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois, where he majored in English and Humanities.


Lora Mitchell

Lora Mitchell attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania for a BA in English and a MA in Industrial and Labor Relations, followed by post-graduate studies at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland) in International Comparative Employment Systems.  She has published research on the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well is a sought after public speaker/ trainer on many employment related subjects such as resume writing, interviewing skills for job seekers and supervisors, employer responsibilities in safety, effective leadership training, and employment equity.  Her experience in multiple industries gives her a strong overview of the many types of outreach that the Guild does.
A native of rural Western Pennsylvania, Lora has spend much of her adult life volunteering in organizations focused on social justice, emergency relief, and education.  Her humor and creativity also bring a liveliness to the Guild.


Pat Weekley

Pat Weekley has over ten years of experience in adult education. She began working for the Aspire Adult Education program in 2013.   Prior to joining the Aspire community, she worked with non-traditional students at Franklin University where she also currently teaches as an adjunct faculty member.   Pat has served as an officer with Toastmasters International, including the position of Club President of Mid-Day Toastmasters in Columbus Ohio in 2011. For several years, she volunteered as a liaison for Ohio Reach, supporting Ohio’s foster care youth. Pat has a Bachelor of Science in Leadership & Management and Master of Science in Business Administration.
