ACES Supervisor

 

We are currently seeking a Supervisor for our acclaimed ACES program which is an in school and after school program at Weinland Park Elementary focused on non academic barriers to success . This position also serves as the Assistant Director for SYEP (Summer Youth Empowerment Program) at Camp Mary Orton.


Some portions of this position may be performed as work-from-home, but in person attendance in afterschool programming and at summer camp are required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages program activity

  • Enrolling and orienting participants into programs.

  • Developing, implementing, and scheduling program curriculum and activities. Supervising and monitoring program activities and participants.

  • Creating opportunities for parent involvement and communicating with parents regarding student progress

  • Coordinating and integrating program services with other services offered by the agency and other community service providers.

  • Identifying risks, developing protocols, and monitoring services to ensure a safe and productive environment for clients and staff.

  • Sustaining and monitoring the quality and nature of services to obtain and maintain necessary licensing and preferred accreditations, and to ensure compliance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.

  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with other community agencies to maximize the resources and services available to clients.

  • Assists with the management, implementation, and planning of SYEP

  • Provide coordination and leadership of the SYEP Junior Staff program

  • Provide administrative support, leadership, and organization to SYEP daily activities

  • Leads and supervises program staff and volunteers

  • Monitors, evaluates, and describes outcomes and achievements of program activities

  • Assists the Director of Youth and Family Education with preparing applications for grants and other funding.

  • Works with the Director of Youth & Family Education to develop and manage program finances and budgets.

Bachelor’s Degree in education, social work, or an equivalent degree required.
Experience supervising staff and working in an elementary educational setting required.
Experience managing educational programming required
Ability to multitask and prioritize with competing deadlines, perform duties steadily in a noisy environment, show patience, and answer questions gracefully with frequent interruptions.


The ability to work independently to complete remote work assignments.
