Pool

Ideal for:

Family parties, birthday parties and social gatherings

Whether for a pool party or added onto your Lodge rental, our swimming pool is a great way to cool off from the summer heat! Generally open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Capacity: 30 people
Features: The pool transitions from 3 feet to 6 feet deep and includes a lifeguard and the use of our pool shelter.

The Lodge

Ideal for:

Weddings, receptions, company picnics, family gatherings, corporate meetings and training sessions

The warm, inviting ambience of the rustic Lodge features original hardwood floors, high-beamed ceilings and a large stone fireplace.

Capacity: 250 people
Features: Commercial-sized kitchen, use of basketball and sand volleyball courts, hiking trails, horse-shoes, and extensive lawn areas.

Non-wedding lodge rentals

Huntington Room

Ideal for:

Meetings, mixers and team bonding

The Huntington Room houses our indoor climbing wall and other adventure elements that can be added to your event as an additional service. A loft adjacent to our Conference Room overlooks the Huntington Room, providing convenient proximity between meeting and activity spaces for your rental.

Features: Seating for up to 40 provided, WiFi, A/V equipment, and sound system.

Conference Room

Ideal for:

Corporate meetings and training sessions

The Conference Room, on the second floor of our Indoor Activity Center, will give you and your team the ideal offsite location to focus on training and planning.

Capacity: 60 people
Features: The climate controlled room has two small kitchenettes equipped with a sink, coffee maker, microwave oven and two refrigerators, and has WiFi, projector and screen for presentations.

Shelters

Graduation parties, school outings, or casual, open air meetings

Camp Mary Orton has 5 outdoor shelters that are a great space for graduation parties, school outings, or casual, open air meetings. With your shelter rental you have the option to add on a fire pit or charcoal grill.

Features: 167 wooded acres, with both indoor and outdoor facilities

Cabins

Weddings, retreats, reunions, school groups, youth groups

Our rustic cabins can be a fun addition to your event at Camp Mary Orton. Hike our trails, sit around a campfire eating s’mores, and enjoy the seclusion of our 167 acres.

Wilderness Discovery Center

Ideal for:

Team building, parties, and social gatherings

Located at the entrance to our Waterfall and High Point trails, serves as a small meeting place. This climate controlled cabin is adjacent to our intimate outdoor amphitheater and fire ring.

Our 45 foot Indoor Climbing Wall offers a variety of climbing routes designed to challenge any skill level from beginners to experts.

The 40 foot high Outdoor Climbing Wall has two routes to challenge beginning and intermediate climbers.

A short hike into the woods leads to our Ravine Crossing where participants ride a zip line across a deep ravine, then turn around and zip back.

The pool is open annually Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Full payment due at booking. Up to 30 guests included (let us know if you have more when booking).

  • Play courts – basketball court, volleyball sand court, Gaga pit (bring your own sports equipment).
  • Follow all lifeguard instructions regarding guest use of the swimming pool and other CMO facilities.
  • Failure to follow instructions from the staff may result in suspension or loss of pool privileges.
  • No diving, spins, flips, or backward entries into the pool.
  • No running, horseplay, head or neck grabbing, pushing, throwing or sitting on shoulders in the pool or pool area.
  • Flotation devices, inflatables, toys and noodles are permitted at the discretion of lifeguards.
  • Children under age 6 must be supervised by someone 16 years or older in the pool or on the pool deck.
  • Appropriate swim attire is required in the pool. No street clothes, jeans, etc.
  • Food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages, are permitted in the fenced pool area.
  • No glass containers.
  • Music is permitted. Be mindful that there may be other guests at CMO during your rental. We may ask you to limit the volume to accommodate other guests.
  • No smoking except in designated areas.
  • No pets are allowed within the fenced pool area. Pets at CMO must be leashed at all times.
  • Pool rental guests are asked to stay within the vicinity of the pool, which includes the pool, pavilion, fenced grass corral, play courts and restrooms.
  • When thunder or lightning are present, the lifeguard will evacuate the pool and clear the deck area immediately. The pool will not reopen until 30 minutes after the last sign of thunder or lightning.
  • The lifeguard will clear the pool for periodic swim breaks during the rental time. The lifeguard may consult with the renter regarding the timing of swim breaks, but there will be a minimum of 10 minutes of break time per hour of pool rental time.
  • Pool reservations cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your rental time are fully refundable, less a 10% administrative fee.
  • Pool reservations cancelled less than 48 hours prior to your rental time are not refundable, and we will attempt to reschedule your time during the current year’s pool season.
  • If the pool is closed for weather or other reasons at the time of your rental, you may choose to reschedule your reservation or receive a refund.

Cabin Rentals

Available 3rd weekend in March through 2nd weekend in December.

We offer 7 primitive cabins for group rentals.

Each cabin has four twin bunk beds. Guests must supply their own linens, pillows or sleeping bags. Cabins have electrical outlets and ceiling fans with lights, but no heat, A/C or running water.

Cabin rentals include the use of the Lodge bathrooms, the Indoor Activity Center bathrooms and showers, and access to our hiking trails. The Lodge bathrooms are located about 100 yards from the cabin area, and the Indoor Activity Center bathrooms and showers are just a short walk beyond the Lodge. A fire ring and firewood is available for an additional charge.

During Your Stay:

  • Do not leave valuables unattended in cabins
  • No pets left unattended in cabins
  • No smoking/vaping in cabins or on porches
  • All food must be stored in latched containers
  • No cooking or small appliances in cabins – coffee makers are allowed
  • Only one fan or space heater per cabin – turn off when leaving cabins
  • Quiet hours 11:00 pm – 7:00 am
  • For your security, the front gate will be locked at the contracted time

Before you leave:

  • Sweep floors
  • Close and latch all windows
  • Turn off all lights and ceiling fans
  • Latch front and back doors
  • Visually check cabin area and pick up any trash around cabins
  • Pull trash from trash cans and leave trash bags on front porch of cabin
