Career Bridges Instructor
The Guild is looking for a Career Bridges Instructor to provide educational instruction and employment services to Career Bridges clients to prepare them for career opportunities with select employer partners.
Essential Responsibilities
a. Provides educational services to participants in classroom, small group, individual, and online settings.
b. Manages the coordination of job placement and retention activities with partner employers.
c. Monitors, evaluates, and describes outcomes of participant activities.
d. Maintains strong, collaborative relationships with external stakeholders including employer partners.
e. Engages in Godman Guild agency activities and initiatives.
f. Performing other duties as assigned.

a. Works independently with minimal supervision.
b. Effective Communication: Speaks clearly and appropriately to the intended audience in both formal and informal settings. Uses effective listening skills to respond with empathy to the feelings and needs of others.

d. Detail Orientation: Pays close attention to the details of work product in order to eliminate all errors and meet the highest possible standards
Work Experience and Education
a. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required with at least 1 year of teaching or adult tutoring experience.
b. Valid driver’s license with no major or DUI offenses in the last five years.
c. Requires intermediate computer skills and experience using office equipment.
d. The ability to speak other languages preferred.
e. Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
f. Requires satisfactory background check.
Other Requirements
a. Must be able to lift, push and/or carry up to fifty pounds (i.e., textbooks, carts, etc.).
b. The ability to work independently to complete remote work assignments.
c. The ability to drive agency vehicles and transport clients, as needed.
d. Demonstrate patience and understanding with clients.
e. Must have access to a working phone or cell phone.
f. Must have access to reliable WIFI or internet connection other than at Guild offices.
g. The ability to work non-traditional hours. Some evenings and weekends required.
