Development Coordinator

 

This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of like-minded individuals to support and financially strengthen funding programs that support the organization’s values, mission and strategic objectives. They will work with staff and volunteers to institutionalize philanthropy and fund development within the agency; under the supervision of the Chief Philanthropy Officer they will support, coordinate, and assure implementation of strategies to sustain and develop donors and contributions to support the organization in alignment with Guild’s strategic plan.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Event coordination by updating guest lists, menu planning, decorative and table set up, staffing, and other activities needed

  • Under direction of CPhO, approach and request of partners for support

  • Coordination with vendors and partners

  • Manage calendar and dates of grants

  • Provide oversight of collection of information and follow-up with staff and partners as needed

  • Investigate and research new grant opportunities as appropriate

  • Tracking all gifts incoming to agency

  • Enter donor information, event invitation, participant lists, and volunteer activity on appropriate technology/database

  • Under the direction of CPhO, evaluate, analyze, and monitor donor and prospect data as a basis for campaign strategy, planning, and projections

  • Provide management of volunteer base orientation to Godman Guild’s mission and expectation of volunteer rights and responsibilities.

  • Actively promotes the development of staff and volunteers’ skills, related to the advancement of our goals and mission

  • Engage and enhance the volunteer to donor pathway

  • Assist CEO and CPhO with administrative support as needed

  • Administrative coordination for all major fundraising campaigns

  • Assist in developing major gift opportunities

  • Attend organizational and community events to represent the Guild, the mission, and highlight organizational successes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Currently working remotely with limited in person meetings, contact, etc. Position is anticipated to remain hybrid with WFH in the future primarily under the employee's preferred schedule.
