R2E Administrative Assistant- Summer Seasonal

Godman Guild Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1898 with a focus on helping to build better neighborhoods – one person, one family at a time. Godman Guild’s programs are for all ages and are built to provide a continuum of success and support, making it possible for participants to achieve their academic and career goals.
Godman Guild Association's Ready to Earn (R2E) Program is a summer work readiness program for participants aged 14 -18 where participants experience training to prepare them for long term employment.
We are now hiring a full time seasonal Administrative Assistant for Summer 2023 to help support career development experiences for participating teens, target hire date is 5/15/2023.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and submit program documentation. This includes:

Manage master enrollment for R2E. Ensuring spreadsheet is regularly updated and information is accurate.

Prepare monthly reports for submission to Franklin County.

Create forms for classroom use including attendance, case notes, and weekly observations.

Provide assistance with Ready 2 Earn registration. This includes:

Respond to parents calls and emails regarding issues with registration forms.

Work directly with parents to gather missing or updated information needed for registration into the program.

Provide parents with opportunity to complete missing paperwork in-person.

Create student files to ensure all required documentation have been completed and signed.

Provide additional support to Ready 2 Earn staff. This includes:

Assist with the coordination and distribution of program materials to students (i.e., laptops, books, flash drives).

Provide backup assistance in the absence of Moodle Coordinator and part-time Administrative Assistant.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Works independently with minimal supervision. Follows instructions given by supervisor and reports important information to supervisor and asks questions as needed.

Uses technology to manage the exchange of information. Understands the data collection process and how to retrieve and share this information.

Pays close attention to the details of work product to eliminate all errors and meet the highest possible standards. Reviews work to correct any errors before submitting work product.

Work Experience and Education

Bachelor's Degree preferred or one years of experience required.

Requires a valid drivers’ license with ability to be insured (i.e., no major or DUI offenses in prior five years).

One years of administrative experience

Requires intermediate computer skills and experience using office equipment.

The ability to speak other languages is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
